• About the Base
Lefkada Island yachts base is situated at Lefkas marina, one of the most modern of its kind for yacht charter in Greece. Lefkas marina is right inside Lefkas town, on the eastern side of the island.
The marina has a mooring capacity of 620 berths for up to 45 meters in length yachts. There are also dry docking facilities for approximately 280 boats. You can hook up to electricity and fresh water or take advantage of the full range of technical services.
This base serves the whole Ionian Islands area. Lefkada Island is an ideal starting point for sailing vacations to the Ionian Sea, especially for visiting Paxos, Kefalonia, Zakynthos and Ithka.
There are 13 of our own yachts which we have stationed at our Lefkada marina base (length 30'-50').
• About Lefkada Island
Lefkada or Lefkas is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea on the west coast of Greece, connected to the mainland by a long causeway and a floating bridge. The principal town of the island and seat of the municipality is Lefkada (city).
The east coast section of the island has small resorts of Lygia, Nikiana and Perigiali, all north of Nidri, the largest resort on the island. It is set in a sheltered location with views across to Skorpios (formerly owned by Aristotle Onassis), Meganissi and other small islands. The main coastal road from Lefkada to Vasiliki runs through the villages. The famous beach of Porto Katsiki is located on Lefkada's west coast.
Lefkada was attached to mainland Greece, were the Corinthians dug a trench in the 7th century BC on its isthmus and now its connected with a floating bridge.

ATHENS ALIMOS MARINA
Alimos marina is located in Athens and 45 minutes from Athens international airport El. Venizelos. The marina provides:
- hot water and showers
- snack- bar/cafe,
- card telephones
- bus/ taxi services to Athens, Piraeus and airport.
- Restaurants near the marina
- Super Market across the street in Poseidonos Avenue. Delivery service available (groceries, water, ice cubes etc.) to the yacht. Ice-cubes also to buy from the fuel station at the marina entrance.
- Water & electricity are provided on the piers.
- Fuel is delivered by a fuel wagon at the pier prior to checkouts.
For your provisions:
1. big-chain supermarket is located at Poseidonos Avenue, across the West entrance of the marina. Delivery to your yacht available. On Saturdays the supermarket closes at 20.00h and on Sundays- closed.
To Arrive:
1. From the Airport:
- By bus EXPRESS X96 destination to: PIRAEUS (PIREAS).
- For Marina ALIMOS get off at bus stop EDEM. The stop is just opposite of the entrance.
- The entrance of the marina, is in front of SHELL gasoline station.
- Pick up Service from Airport to Marina Alimos with minivan (up to 8 guests) one way 60€ and round trip 110€.
2. From Athens:
- By bus from Syntagma square, destination: ALIMOS, VOULA, or GLYFADA.
- By tram from Syntagma square destination: GLYFADA.
- By Metro to Piraeus (line M1). At FALERON station, take the tram or a bus to GLYFADA or a taxi (±10 €) to the Marina Alimos.
- Minivan Service from Athens to Marina Alimos ( up to 8 guests ) one way 40€ and round trip 70€.
3. From Piraeus:
- By Metro as above indicated to FALERON, then by tram or a bus to ALIMOS, VOULA, or GLYFADA, or a taxi from Piraeus(±15 €).
- Pick up Service to Marina Alimos with minivan and up to 8 guests 30€ and round trip 50€

Check in: embarkation date at 17.00 pm. (local time)
Check out: disembarkation date at 09.00am. (local time)
The yacht should be returned to base a day before the end of the above-mentioned period, at 18.00pm the latest.
Charter FEES
Included at the Charter fees:
- The Yacht use and its equipment-full inventory and extras as specified for individual yachts, yacht s base mooring fees, yacht s marine insurance,
- Linen and Towel (1 set/person/week), blankets
- Cooking gas
- Taxes & VAT
- Dinghy
Not included at the Charter fees:
- Fuel consumption
- Fresh water consumption and provisioning
- Port fees, Marina Fees and Canal Dues
- Transfers
- End cleaning
PAYMENTS CONDITIONS
1. Charter fee: includes charter price and extras, if any, (i.e. skipper, hostess, etc. ).
A. A down payment of 50% of the charter fee is required upon charter booking ( booking confirmation)
B. Balance payment of 50% of the charter fee is required 30 days prior to charter embarkation.
Above payments can be made via bank wire transfer**.
If you book last minute the whole amount of the charter fee is required upon reservation!
2. Security Deposit (refundable): The said refundable Security Deposit will cover any damage or loss of the yacht and her equipment during the cruise. Payable at the base upon embarkation in cash or by credit card (Visa and MasterCard only).
BOOKING PROCEDURE
1. Please inform us of your interest in one of our yachts, cruises or activities and we will contact and send an offer and additional information.
2. If you would like to decide to make a booking, we will hold an option on the yacht no obligation), for 5 days pending your final conclusion for the booking.
3. With your confirmation for the booking we will confirm to you the final booking and a signed charter contract will be mailed to you.
4. Your reservation is secured when down payment is settled. You will be asked to return to us the Charter party signed together with a charter down payment, should be settled within 7 days.
5. The charter balance Payment should be settled 30 days before the charter embarkation.
